So this is day 2 of my restart, how many of us have had restarts? Well I guess that doesn’t matter because we are doing it this time!!! Day 2 of my cleanse, well lets just say interesting!!!I guess my body is getting revenge on me for my bad behavior! I know how to eat, and what to eat to make me healthy!! And feel terrific! With lots of energy! But why I detoured, here is my only excuse; I started looking at what everyone says are the “best tasting foods”; even as I was eating them I didn’t feel good but I just kept on! You realize the definition of insanity is,doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result! Yes I admit it! I’m a bit on the quirky side!!!I have a very hard head, a stubborn streak, that I will not admit to my family,and if you tell them I will deny it!! But what do we do? We keep doing the same things, keep eating the same foods,even though they hurt us! NO MORE!!! Shouting from the roof tops!!! Ask yourself when will it be the day? When do you want to get healthy? after your already sick? No start it now! Nutrition is one of the most important things in your life! Do like I do, listen,read, research! Find out what works for you! I know what works for me, how I feel, the energy I have. This might not be it for everyone, but boy do I believe it is!! This is interesting . .. .

It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow colouring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavourings….

DO YOU KNOW.. The difference between margarine and butter?

Read on to the end…gets very interesting!

Both have the same amount of calories.
Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams; compared to 5 grams for margarine.

Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.

Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.
Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few and only because they are added!

Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavours of other foods.

Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years .

And now, for Margarine..

Very High in Trans fatty acids.

Triples risk of coronary heart disease …

Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)

Increases the risk of cancers up to five times..

Lowers quality of breast milk

Decreases immune response.

Decreases insulin response.

These facts alone were enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

Open a tub of margarine and leave it open in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will notice a couple of things:

* no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)

* it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value ; nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not a find a home to grow.

There was a couple lines in here that I felt may not be totally true so I took them out, the remainder is correct , the things I removed were accusing margarine to be one molecule away from plastic, I could not prove that so I removed it. Everything else is fact!
The thing we need to remember is to JUST EAT REAL FOOD! If we do this we really would not have to worry about the garbage they put into our food!
Dr.Len Lopez he is a Chiropractor and Nutritionist out of Dallas, once told me 90% of our problems are diet and stress! These are thing we can manage! Right now we are working on our food, we will tackle stress later! Until another time, look at what you are eating and set out to find the best possible food to nourish your body! After all God made it and made it His temple in which we are commanded to take care of it!
